GEM SUGILITE CABOCHON
Sugilite semi-gel with some jasper in it. It is a mixture of sugilite and Richerite, with a feathery look to it. Those are NOT cracks. This is a solid stone. This comes from in Wessels, South Africa
This stuff is getting very expensive and scarce. This material I got at the beginning of the century. The rough has NEVER been cheap. It has a bit of even rarer Richerite in it.
Excellent bezel kerf.
