Incredible Pyrite! This Kingman freeform cab is old Kingman "high blue". I bought a small amount in the 1970's and it was expensive then. I saw some on a website which was $200.00 per ounce.
When a lapidarist buys rough, there is a lot of waste and one never really knows what one will find when the rock is cut into! This cab is a true gem. For one of these set as a pendant, see: "High Blue" Kingman bird's eye pendant Both of these were mined from Ithaca Peak in Arizona. This one's smaller.
Dimensions are 14mmX13mmX4mm at 10 cts.
